Technical Service and Software Loading Specialist / Senior Specialist

Your tasks will include: • Installation, configuration, and loading of software for POS terminal equipment; • Establishing connection with the host (processing system) for POS terminals and conducting test operations; • Prompt investigation of technical inquiries from customers, resolving issues on-site or remotely; • Detection and elimination of communication problems (GPRS, Ethernet, Wi-Fi) occurring in POS terminals; • Accounting, inventory, registration, and management of POS terminals in the respective systems (TMS or internal platforms); • Ensuring the integration of POS terminals with cash registers and other integration solutions; • Testing and monitoring the transaction flow (authorization, clearing, settlement) for card payments; • Checking new terminals in pilot tests, participating in certification and acceptance processes; • Participating in the adjustment of terminal parameters; • Technical inspection, replacement of malfunctioning equipment, and coordination with vendors; • Preparing regular technical reports and documentation for the work done. The suitable candidate for us: • Higher education (IT, Computer Engineering, or related fields); • Basic knowledge of POS terminals, payment systems, and acquiring processes; • Skills in network knowledge (TCP/IP, APN, VPN, router/switch basics); • Experience working with Linux/Android-based POS devices is preferred; • Understanding processing systems and card payment standards (EMV, Contactless, NFC); • Ability to work with technical documentation and log analysis; • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); • Fluent in Azerbaijani and Russian, technical level knowledge of English is preferred; • Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and prompt decision-making abilities; • Ability to work in a team and customer-oriented approach; • Willingness to undertake fieldwork (including business trips and site visits); • A person who is eager to quickly learn new technologies and improve themselves.
