Job Description & Requirements
Higher education in economics, finance, statistics, information technology or related field; Minimum 2-4 years of experience in banking, finance, or risk management; Knowledge in data risk, data governance, or operational risk; Ability to work with analytical tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI or others; Analytical thinking and risk assessment skills; Good written and verbal communication skills in Azerbaijani and English; Ability to work in a team and coordinate with various departments; Experience with data governance frameworks (e.g. DAMA-DMBOK); Knowledge of banking regulations and risk standards (e.g. Basel III); Experience in statistical analysis and data modeling.
Job Responsibilities
This role is focused on the effective management of risks related to the bank's data assets. The specialist engages in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in data management (data governance), data quality, and security. Additionally, monitoring risks in the processes of data storage, processing, and transmission, as well as implementing internal control mechanisms, are key directions of this role.
