Junior Specialist in Non-Financial Risk Management

Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor compliance with the risk management strategy and policy. Participate in the development of risk management methodologies. Conduct the risk identification process and provide methodological support to other departments in this area. Continuously monitor adherence to risk limits and immediately report any violations. Perform operational risk assessment and analysis, and report on reviewed risks to direct supervisor on a monthly basis. Analyze data obtained from other company departments, electronic information systems, and external sources for the purpose of risk assessment and management. Provide methodological support to other company departments regarding risk-related issues. Analyze incidents reported within the incident management system. Monitor the implementation of incidents reported within the incident management system. Knowledge: A bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Mathematics is preferred. Computer skills: proficiency in MS Office programs. Language skills: high proficiency in Azerbaijani and English; knowledge of Russian is an advantage. Relevant professional certifications (ARM, ORM, FRM) are considered a plus. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in risk management or audit (preference given to candidates with experience in insurance companies, other financial institutions, or Big 4 firms). Skills: Theoretical and practical knowledge in operational risk management. Fundamental understanding of the insurance sector. Ability to work with large datasets and analyze information. Presentation skills and the ability to communicate results in a structured manner. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. Logical and analytical thinking. Emotional stability and stress resistance. High responsibility and initiative.
