Head of Data Management Department

Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the company's data strategy, forming initiatives that enhance the business value of data. Drive profitability and optimize business decisions through data and analytics. Support the development of data-driven analytical models and solutions in areas such as underwriting, risk assessment, customer behavior, and fraud detection. Lead initiatives to implement modern AI and advanced analytics tools for product pricing, risk model improvement, and operational efficiency. Plan and develop departmental activities in data management, data architecture, and database administration. Oversee the preparation and implementation of company-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and standards. Establish systems and controls to improve data quality and ensure data accuracy. Collaborate with business units to support strategic decision-making through data and analytics. Lead the implementation of advanced analytics and BI solutions for various business directions. Develop data-driven analytics and modeling capabilities to enhance customer experience and business performance. Promote and foster a data-driven decision-making culture across the organization. Supervise the design and development of ETL processes, data integration, and data platforms. Manage projects for the creation of new data systems and the enhancement of existing ones. Regularly report to management on the execution and outcomes of departmental strategic initiatives. Knowledge and Skills Proficiency in technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL / Data Warehouse, Integration Systems, Data Architecture, Reporting Systems, Data Analytics, Data Governance, Microsoft Office, SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI. Strong analytical thinking and strategic decision-making abilities. Complex problem-solving skills. Effective communication and influencing skills. Accuracy, responsibility, and results-oriented approach. Management and coordination capabilities. Adaptability and change management. Results-driven mindset. Language skills: Azerbaijani, English, Russian. Education and Experience Higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
