Specialist / Senior Specialist in Installation of POS Terminals and Technical Support

Your tasks will include: • Installation, configuration, and loading and updating of software for POS terminal devices; • Establishing and testing the connection with the host (processing system) for POS terminals; • Prompt investigation of technical requests from customers, resolving malfunctions on-site or remotely; • Detection and elimination of communication problems on POS terminals (GPRS, Ethernet, Wi-Fi); • Accounting, inventory, registration, and management of POS terminals in relevant systems (TMS or internal platforms); • Ensuring the connection of POS terminals to cash registers and other integration solutions; • Testing and monitoring the operational flow of card payments (authorization, clearing, settlement); • Participation in pilot testing of new terminals, certification, and acceptance processes; • Participation in setting terminal parameters; • Technical inspection, replacement of faulty equipment, and coordination with vendors; • Preparation of regular technical reports and documentation on completed work. The suitable candidate for us: • Higher education (in IT, computer engineering, or related fields); • Basic knowledge of POS terminals, payment systems, and acquiring processes; • Skills in network knowledge (TCP/IP, APN, VPN, router/switch basics); • Experience working with Linux/Android-based POS devices is preferred; • Understanding of processing systems and card payment standards (EMV, Contactless, NFC); • Ability to work with technical documentation and perform log analysis; • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); • Fluent in Azerbaijani and Russian, English at a technical level is desirable; • Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and prompt decision-making skills; • Ability to work in a team and customer-oriented approach; • readiness for fieldwork (including business trips and site visits); • Eager to quickly learn new technologies and develop oneself.
