Specialist / Senior Specialist in Installation and Technical Support of POS Terminals

Your tasks: • Installation, configuration, and updating of POS terminal equipment and software; • Establishing a connection and conducting test operations with the host (processing system) for POS terminals; • Prompt investigation of technical requests from clients, resolving malfunctions on-site or remotely; • Detection and resolution of communication issues in POS terminals (GPRS, Ethernet, Wi-Fi); • Accounting, inventory, registration, and management of POS terminals in relevant systems (TMS or internal platforms); • Ensuring the connection of POS terminals with cash registers and other integration solutions; • Testing and monitoring of transaction flows for card payments (authorization, clearing, settlement); • Participation in pilot tests, certification, and acceptance processes for new terminals; • Participation in adjusting terminal parameters; • Technical inspection, replacement of faulty equipment, and coordination with vendors; • Preparation of regular technical reports and documentation for completed work. The suitable candidate for us: • Higher education (in IT, computer engineering, or related fields); • Basic knowledge of POS terminals, payment systems, and acquiring processes; • Skills in network knowledge (TCP/IP, APN, VPN, router/switch fundamentals); • Experience working with Linux/Android-based POS devices is an advantage; • Understanding of processing systems and card payment standards (EMV, Contactless, NFC); • Ability to work with technical documentation and analyze logs; • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); • Fluent in Azerbaijani and Russian, with a technical level of English desired; • Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and prompt decision-making skills; • Ability to work in a team and a customer-oriented approach; • Willingness to work in the field (including business trips and object visits); • A person who is eager to quickly learn new technologies and develop themselves.
