PASHA Insurance OJSC invites candidates to apply for the position of Senior Actuarial Control Service Specialist and become a member of our professional team. In this role, you will contribute to the company's sustainable development and effective risk management by participating in the analysis of tariff policy, loss reserves, insurance risks, and the company's risk profile.

Vəzifə öhdəlikləri

Responsibilities Analyze changes made to the company's tariff policy and provide relevant feedback Assess the adequacy of loss reserves across the insurance portfolio Prepare proposals regarding reserving methodologies for deviations observed in loss reserves Verify the methodological accuracy and assumptions of actuarial calculations used in reports submitted to the financial market supervisory authority Challenge actuarial approaches and assumptions used in IFRS 17 and regulatory reporting Identify insurance risks related to new business processes and products and provide recommendations on control mechanisms Analyze the loss ratio of the insurance portfolio, evaluate the concentration of high-loss risks within the portfolio, and assess the effectiveness of applied control mechanisms Conduct data-driven monitoring of tariff adequacy and product performance Evaluate the effectiveness of reserving and pricing models Send inquiries to relevant structural divisions and inform related parties about identified inconsistencies through meetings Monitor and supervise the implementation of agreed action plans Analyze the company's risk profile, underwriting, and reinsurance policies Propose amendments to the Risk Appetite Statement and evaluate the effectiveness of calculation and control mechanisms Knowledge and Skills Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs Experience with SQL, Power BI, Python, or other analytical tools is an advantage Strong analytical and logical thinking skills Data-driven decision-making approach Teamwork and effective communication skills Ability to work under pressure and make agile decisions Initiative and sense of responsibility Coordination and organizational skills High proficiency in Azerbaijani and English languages Education and Experience Higher education in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or other related fields Minimum 4 years of work experience in the actuarial field Knowledge and experience in IFRS 17 is an advantage Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully passed actuarial certifications determined by the regulator What We Offer Opportunity to work in a professional and dynamic team Internal development and continuous learning opportunities Transparent and supportive corporate environment Participation in projects with real business impact Opportunity to work in a "Great Place To Work" certified company Chance to be part of digital transformation and Insurtech initiatives
