Head of Data engineering and technology CoE is part of the newly established Data ＆ AI Office of Bir Ecosystem and is responsible for defining, designing, and implementing the target ecosystem-wide data platform. This includes assessing the current landscape, determining the appropriate architectural approach (e.g. consolidation, layered architecture, federated model, or data mesh), and leading its phased realization. The role provides overall leadership and coordination for the run and evolution of multiple existing data platforms, ensuring stable, secure, and reliable operations. The role develops enterprise-grade data engineering capabilities across the Bir ecosystem, overseeing both day-to-day platform stability and long-term architectural development. It requires strong technical depth combined with organizational leadership and close collaboration with Data ＆ AI Ops, Data Governance, AI Enablement, and Analytics and Science teams across Bir Ecosystem.
