Functional Area Manager for Data Management

Suitable candidates should have a higher technical or business/economics/finance education; at least 5 years of experience in a bank or fintech company; proficiency in foreign languages (English is mandatory); solid knowledge in data management (preferably with relevant certifications); thorough knowledge of bank business; fundamental knowledge related to the design and construction of analytical databases, and data modeling; high-level knowledge of MS Excel; knowledge of SQL and Python programming languages; general knowledge of software intended for the automation of data management processes; excellent communication skills, particularly in engaging with business representatives; ability to work in a dynamic work environment; self-improvement ability; initiative and proactivity, achieving high-level results through effective time management and independent task prioritization; strong skills in managing and coaching teams; capability to work completely independently and organize work appropriately; ability to work with numerous technical and business colleagues in an agile environment; the candidate should possess strong analytical skills.

The tasks you will perform include mentoring employees related to the functional area of data management, instructing them on the application and support of principles and rules concerning data management; participating as a member of teams within the data domain to present daily expertise to team members on data management processes, including data quality management, automation, and other related technological issues, as well as business-related matters; contributing to the achievement of the KPIs of the agile team they work with, carrying out their functions as an active member of the team; ensuring compliance with existing work rules and standards of process quality by analysts in the field of data management; identifying training needs of analysts in data management and taking measures to meet those needs; conducting awareness and communication work regarding the importance of data management within the bank and the processes it covers; informing data stewards and data owners, as well as other functional area managers and product owners about data management, conducting training for them, collaborating for knowledge sharing, and acting in a consulting role in the field of data management; actively participating in hiring processes for the formation of the functional area of data management; staying informed about the latest trends and technologies in data management, and keeping colleagues updated about innovations.
