Professional Background · Prior experience (internship or full-time) in analytics, finance, banking, consulting, or a related quantitative field is an asset · Proven experience working with real datasets in a business or operational context · Academic background in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Technical Skills (Must-Have by Start Date) · Advanced Excel skills, including data modeling, structured analysis, and complex formulas · Strong SQL proficiency for querying, joining, and validating large datasets · Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau for building analytical dashboards · Working knowledge of R and (or) Python for data analysis, automation, or statistical work is an asset · Ability to independently clean, validate, and interpret data without close supervision Analytical ＆ Business Acumen · Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect data outputs to business outcomes · Understanding of financial and performance metrics commonly used in banking or financial services · Ability to assess trends, compare scenarios, and support data-driven recommendations Soft Skills · Clear and structured communication skills · Ability to work independently and manage multiple analytical tasks in parallel · Strong stakeholder interaction skills and comfort working with senior team members · Attention to detail, ownership mentality, and curiosity to dig beyond surface-level results

As an Analytics Intern, you will contribute to bridging data-driven insights with strategic decision-making across the organization. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining data processing workflows, conducting and automating reporting and dashboard development, and performing data validation and sense-checking in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. You will also support dependency management and stakeholder coordination, while evaluating the performance of products and business verticals through analytical insights.
