System Administrator

"PAŞA Insurance" ASC invites candidates to apply for the position of System Administrator and be a part of a professional team. Job responsibilities include ensuring the uninterrupted and stable operation of server and network infrastructure; installation, configuration, and administration of Windows and Linux servers; managing the Active Directory environment (user, group, policy, etc.); creating virtual machines, optimizing and monitoring resources; executing backup and recovery procedures and conducting regular tests; implementing security policies and executing the patch management process; managing network and firewall rules; analyzing system problems and promptly addressing them; monitoring and optimizing system performance; participating in projects for setting up new systems and improving existing systems; preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports; conducting inventory and documentation of IT assets; participating in the implementation of DR (Disaster Recovery) and Business Continuity plans. Skills / Knowledge include administrative level theoretical and practical knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky, etc.); experience with Active Directory (AD DS) - User/Group management, GPO, OU structure, DNS, DHCP; practical knowledge of File Server, Print Server, and Share permission models; experience with virtualization technologies - vmWare (ESXi, vCenter), VM provisioning and resource management; experience with backup solutions - Veeam or similar systems (backup policy, restore, DR scenarios); network fundamentals - TCP/IP, VLAN, Subnetting, NAT, Firewall fundamentals; experience with firewall and security systems - Fortigate, Sophos, Palo Alto or similar solutions; experience with Antivirus and Endpoint Security systems; knowledge of mail systems - Microsoft Exchange (on-prem or Online); experience with monitoring tools - Zabbix, PRTG, Nagios or similar systems; understanding of logging and audit mechanisms; basic knowledge of PowerShell or Bash scripting; knowledge of storage systems (SAN/NAS) and LUN management; understanding of IT security principles - access control, patch management, vulnerability management; understanding ITIL fundamentals - Incident, Problem, Change management processes; experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) administration; skills in scripting; knowledge of networking technology principles; skills in Distributed File System (DFS); experience with network equipment configuration; technologies (Vmware Vsphere, MS Hyper-v) for setting up, configuring, and managing Windows Server and Linux environments; applying high availability (HA) and failover mechanisms; establishing and testing backup and restore strategies; administration of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and file servers. Language skills required are Azerbaijani, English, and Russian.
