Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with a strong track record of managing large, complex database environments. Proven experience in performance tuning, high availability solutions, and disaster recovery planning. Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional (OCP) or higher certifications are highly preferred. Expertise in Oracle Database versions 11g, 12c, 18c, and 19c. Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning techniques. Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, RAC, RAC ONE NODE and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems. Understanding of networking, storage, and backup technologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. Experience in database migration and upgrade projects. Experience with automation tools and scripting (Shell scripting).
