QA Engineer

This role is pivotal in ensuring product quality through comprehensive manual testing of mobile and web applications, API validation, and the preparation of test documentation. Working under the guidance of the CoE QA Leader, you will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and other QA professionals to enhance the reliability and performance of customer-facing platforms. Responsibilities Design, write, and execute manual test cases for mobile and web applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. Test APIs using tools such as Postman or Swagger; validate data, responses, and error handling. Create and maintain test documentation: test plans, test cases, checklists, and bug reports. Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and identify risks early. Re-test resolved issues and participate in release readiness checks. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of mobile and web application testing. Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Ability to document clear, reproducible bugs and test cases. Strong attention to detail and passion for software quality. Familiarity with API test automation is a plus. Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps pipelines). Basic SQL knowledge for data validation. Exposure to insurance or fintech domains. Knowledge of basic JSON/XML structure. Familiarity with JIRA and test case management tools such as Qase. Basic programming/scripting skills (C#, JS/TS, Java, Python). Language skills: Azerbaijani, English, Russian Education and Experience Higher education. 2-4 years of experience in manual software testing.
